2010 NFC Championship Game: Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears

Location: Soldier Field, Chicago, IL
Time: 3:00 pm
Road Team: Green Bay Packers
Home Team: 2010 NFC North Champions Chicago Bears
W-L Records: Packers 10-6, Bears 11-5
Points Scored: Packers 24.3, Bears 20.9
Points Allowed: Packers 15, Bears 17.9

How will the Packers win: Aaron Rodgers has used this postseason to elevate himself into the elite group of NFL quarterbacks. No QB has played better in this year's playoff. In order for the team to advance to the Super Bowl, it's going to be all on him on offense. The Bears defense will be the toughest of all the defenses that he has faced so far so any help from RB James Starks will be greatly appreciated. On defense, the Packers have been able to rattle both Michael Vick and Matt Ryan, arguably the two best QBs this year in the NFC not named Rodgers. I see no reason for them to not be able to contain Jay Cutler.

How will the Bears win: For the Bears to win, their defense needs to have a huge day, as so does Devin Hester in the return game. It'll be up to Hester to give the Bears good field position and at least give Cutler the chance to set up the Bears for FGs when they cant punch it in to the end zone. Matt Forte will also need to have a huge day out of the backfield. With Dom Capers sending CB Charles Woodson at will at the QB, itll be up to Forte to protect his QB or burn the Packers defense with big yards out of the backfield.

The Pick: Packers have the better defense and better QB. Cheese heads will be descending on Dallas in two weeks. Packers 20 Bears 17.
