2010 NFL Wild Card Game: Saints at Seahawks

Location: Qwest Field, Seattle
Time: 4:30
Road Team: Defending Super Bowl Champions New Orleans Saints
Home Team: 2010 NFC West Champions Seattle Seahawks
W-L Records: Saints 11-5, Seahawks 7-9
Points Scored: Saints 384, Seahawks 310
Points Allowed: Saints 307, Seahawks 407

How will the Saints win: With injuries to their backfield, the Saints will have to rely heavily on Reggie Bush to produce anything in the running game. Luckily, they have one of the best QBs in the league in Drew Brees and they are going up against a defense that gave up over 400 points this season.

How will the Seahawks win: The Seahawks will have Matt Hasselbeck starting at QB this weekend, who is a major upgrade over Charlie Whitehurst and threw for 366 yards against the Saints earlier this season. With an improved Mike Williams this season, look for Hasselbeck to carve up the Saints secondary as he did earlier this season. If Hasselbeck's arm can give the Seahawks a lead, it will be up to Marshawn Lynch to carry the load, give the Seahawks first downs and run the clock.

The Pick: Saints 35, Seahawks 14

Despite the injuries to their backfield, the Saints are still going up against one of the worst defenses in the league. I say look for a big day out of Drew Brees, getting all of his weapons involved, specifically Marques Colston and Reggie Bush
